About Catharina
Leadership.
I am an experienced and professional certified leadership coach (PCC), trainer and HR development leader, with a history of working with leaders and executives in a variety of international industries. In the last years, I facilitated more than 400 trainings and workshops, using sustainable development measures based on psychological concepts and delivered over 800 hours of leadership coaching tailored to my clients’ needs.
With my fast-growing podcast team ‘I Feel Awful – Chronicles of Leadership’, we create weekly micro podcast episodes about relevant leadership topics and translate them into four languages and cultures.
I am part of the Accomplishment Coaching trainer team, supporting participants of the leadership coach training program to build their own coaching practices. In my role I facilitate coach training, train-the-trainer, mentor coaching and supervision.
My passion is to support my clients in understanding and intentionally shifting their behavior to grow. I hold a Master’s Degree in Work & Organizational Psychology and I am Dare to Lead trained by Brené Brown.

Personal.
In 2019, I moved with my partner from Germany, to New York City, where I started my coaching and training business. We experienced 1,5 exciting years in this very special city in the midst of a global pandemic. I am currently running my international and cross-cultural business from my hometown of Hamburg, Germany.
In my free time, I love to spend long hours in the kitchen, trying challenging baking recipes. In order to neutralize these additional carbs, I appreciate a good workout or getting grounded on my yoga mat.
I love the work (1:1 coaching, group coaching, trainings, workshops) I do with individuals as well as organizations AND I identify as an introvert. Yes, those two things go together. They may seem like conflicting concepts at first, but this is not the whole truth. I care about creating awareness what introversion is and what it isn’t, especially in the leadership context. If you are curious you can learn more about it in a podcast episode: Jason Frazell and I chat about introversion and extroversion at work.
What my clients say about me…

“If you want someone to guide you through this uncertain life, someone to support you in becoming a better version of yourself and gain clarity - all while enjoying every moment of the conversation, I would definitely recommend Catharina.
After attending my very first session with her I automatically felt understood. She gave me the space to explore what I truly wanted to work on and always asked questions, that required me to think deeply. Through her sessions I was able expand my vulnerability.
She is very respectful, brilliant, joyful and patient. And I could almost swear she’s a mind reader. She is the best!”

"In working with Catharina on my projects for five months, I did not only gain a high amount of energy, but I was also able to expand it even more by sharing it with friends, family and my partner between the sessions. I highly appreciate every conversation we had together – it was a great mixture of fun, professionalism and focus on individual needs. What makes Catharina very special is her tremendous level of empathy and warmth that she brings to every session.“
